Built by a qualified science teacher. Parent of a neurodivergent child. Accessible by design from day one.
A premium digital Science platform built around one question: what does a student actually need next? Built by an educator who has lived that question as a teacher, as a learner, and as a parent of a neurodivergent child. High-accessibility tools are standard - so the platform works whether your student is in a classroom, learning at home, or supported through school refusal or EOTAS.

Most students don't struggle because they're not trying - they struggle because they don't know where to start. SoloCognition takes that guesswork away.
Built by an educator and parent who has lived it from both sides
SoloCogs was built around real students - including the ones who learn differently. If your child has ever stared at a revision guide and not known where to begin, this is for them.
No score mid-session. Honest breakdown at the end.
Department-wide oversight, ready out of the box
Every account, every student, every Required Practical - in one dashboard. Built to the AQA Combined Science Foundation specification, with the 2027 spec on the roadmap.
Foundation-first by design - with Higher Tier stretch built in. Our accessible-by-design ethos means every student starts on the Foundation route by default; the platform is rigorously aligned to AQA Combined Science Trilogy (8464) Foundation. Students aiming at grades 5-9 can switch their account to Higher Tier in settings, which unlocks Higher-only questions (Le Chatelier's principle, transformer current calculations, oxygen debt clearance, etc.) inside SoloCognition. Foundation content stays available either way - Higher is additive, not a different platform.
Department-wide dashboard
Every student in your department, every unit they have worked through, every misconception flagged. Filter by class, by year, by subtopic - identify exactly which Grade 1-3 questions need a re-teach and which classes need additional support.
Required Practicals on record
Every virtual practical produces a downloadable PDF: method, observations, results table, conclusion. Audit-ready evidence of completion for every student, with timestamps. Useful when an observation rolls round, or when a student catches up after absence.
Universally Designed: Built for focus, clarity, and mastery
Read-aloud, six background colour options, Plain-English toggles, smart-match spelling (SoloSpell), no timers, no penalty for skipping. High-performance learning tools baked in - so every student gets a frictionless route to mastery, and no-one needs a separate workflow to support them.
12 students, 3 subjects, one dashboard
Monday morning: open SoloSight Tutor and see who has done what since last week. Three students worked through Cell Biology over the weekend - one of them flagged a misconception around osmosis. The Recommended First Target tells you exactly what to open in the next session.
No marking pile, no spreadsheet juggling - and parents can see the same picture, so the conversation in the Tuesday catch-up meeting is concrete.
Family subscriptions are listed on the pricing page, but department-scale pricing depends on student headcount, multi-subject access, and how you want SoloSight set up across teaching staff. The fastest way is a 20-minute call.

SoloCognition is not a test - there's no pass/fail and no timer. It compares what a student answers with how confident they felt, and turns that into a precise study plan. Here's exactly how each question works.
Every question follows the same three-step structure
Aligned to AQA Foundation specification language. Every question includes a skip option - skipping is still useful data.
The four Knowledge Flags
A standard test tells you what a student got right or wrong. SoloCognition combines answer + confidence to identify why they're where they are.
SoloCognition doesn't just identify which topics need attention - it identifies what kind of attention each one needs. A misconception needs unpicking. A gap needs building. Hesitancy needs reinforcing. Each produces a different recommended next step.
This is what makes SoloCognition different from a revision checklist. It doesn't just tell you what to cover - it tells you how to approach it.
